Google launched a website specifically for it's Street View product for the US. In addition to providing an optimized platform for the Street View experience, the website also informs users how to use Street View’s features and gives a view into active vehicles that are recording. Currently Google uses a range of vehicles from cars and bikes to snowmobiles and even a human-powered trolley. The website also contains an image gallery captured from the Street View vehicles. Property owners can even request visits from the Google team.
