Looking at Q4 of 2013, search advertising spend grew by 12% compared to 2012. Much of that growth occurred during the holiday season the report indicated. In addition, clicks increased by 5% and click through rates rose 25% in Q4 of 2013.
The report also outlined growth in mobile and programmatic display advertising in addition to paid search.
The report outlined the growth of the tablet market, which saw a spending increase YoY for tablets up by 82%. Smartphones did even better with a growth of 253%.
