China Indefinitely Delays Rule Of Censorship Software

Chinese officials indefinitely delayed the enforcement of the mandatory installation by computer makers of censorship software on all models sold. The Chinese government was bombarded with criticism and resistance by both it's citizens and the computer industry. This software, called Green Dam-Youth, was advertised as an anti porn censorship software, but it has the potential to suppress all types of content at the government's wishes.
