Apple and Microsoft Release Critical Patches For PowerPoint

Both Apple and Microsoft have released urgent and critical patches for Power Point. Apple has updated OS X 10.5 to 10.5.7, and Microsoft has released its update (MS09-017) nearly concurrently, which address numerous significant security risks. For Microsoft, the security update covers every single version of Power Point: PowerPoint 2000, 2002 (XP), and 2003 are the versions affected by most of the vulnerabilities, which could lead to remote code execution.
