Yahoo just released a web development tool called YSlow, which allows developers to check web page performance using the Chrome browser. YSlow is already a top Firefox add-on and it's popularity is just growing as the tool extends to a new browser.
The YSlow Chrome version features:
- Same user experience as the Firefox version
- Can run multiple instances of YSlow
- Ability to detect post onload components (includes pages that prevent themselves from being loaded such as an iframe
- Different rule sets for different types of websites (from blogs to traditional)
- Domain only listings for CDN offenders rule
