Quoting Twitter has become quite a fad in the news. Even major news outlets now quote Twitter as a form of opinion that can also cross market their brand and build engagement from viewers.
Twitter, being referenced so much in the news, has enjoyed a tremendous amount of publicity. As a result, they are planning on rolling out a new function that will make it easier to embed quotes within a website and displaying the quote as simple, selectable flat-HTML tweets. Supposedly, the new function will look like a screen-grabbed image of a tweet. It will also have the ability to be easily copied and pasted--allowing for viral re-purposing of the tweets.
