A leaked slide from a recent Yahoo meeting provides some clues about an organizational streamlining project that may do away with some key programs.
Yahoo has already confirmed that Yahoo Buzz will be closed.
It appears that a number of other programs may be closed as well, such as Delicous, Yahoo Bookmarks, Alltheweb, AltaVista as well as the Traffic APIs.
Having this news leaked is less than ideal for the company. There are a lot of strong followers, for example, of the Delicous product, and the news of it's closing may create a lot of fears and worries about the hosted content of that website. One possibility could arise, especially for Delicous. Perhaps Yahoo will sell the product, which will allow it life after streamlining.
