Web marketing firms will be exploring the new advertising product by Facebook--sponsored results. Although the new ads appear in search results, they do not reflect the approach that Google and Bing use for Adwords or AdCenter. Rather, the new, sponsored results mimic Facebook's standard approach to advertising.
The ad content appears directly above search results, in the same drop down menu. The content appears as a suggestion while the user types.
The frustrating thing about this new product is that the ads cannot be targeted to keywords in the way they can with Google advertising.
