New Google Alert For Hacked Websites In Search Results

The Google Webmaster Blog announced that there will be a notification for hacked websites within search listings. Since 2007, the search results display a warning for websites that are distributing malware. Similar to the malware notification, the hacked website notification will alert visitors coming from the search engine that the website content has been manipulated. The message will state "This site may be compromised" just below the clickable title of the search result. Webmasters will be able to remove the warning label through a manually process.
