Keyword domains to be devalued for SEO

Google has been putting considerable time into updating it's algorithm after a series of negative articles regarding the quality of it's search results. From a particularly unflattering article involving a bully that used negative ratings and rantings to build search engine rankings (decormyeyes.com)  to the evaluation of JCPenny's and other retailers' shady SEO tactics, Google is responding aggressively by rebuilding it's core ranking system.

The next step in this process of refinement will be adjusting the weight given to keyword laden domains. Currently, many SEO practitioners use keyword domains to give their ventures an extra boost in search results. Google is in the process of adjusting this balance, so that keyword domains are not attributed as much importance as before. In typical Google fashion, they never gave an exact amount or scale of change that would occur within the algorithm.
