Google’s Product Listing Ads are special search ads designed for eCommerce. The ads include features such as price and image inside Google search result pages. These Product Listing Ads experienced heavy growth in Q4 2013.
According to a report in January 2014 by The Search Agency, spending on Google’s Product Listing Ads increased by 71% from Q3 to Q4. When you compare Google’s Product Listing Ads year over year in the last quarter of 2013 the growth was more dramatic: an increase by 164.8%.
Clickthrough rates (CTRs) and cost per click (CPC) were also up year over year.
