FCC Begins Writing Net Neutrality Laws

The FCC is poised to begin drafting Network Neutrality laws. A formal discussion has been announced regarding the content of the laws. In essence, the laws would require telecommunications companies not to use their services play favorites and maintain an environment that is open and fair. However, there is quite some disagreement about whether Julius Genachowski will actually make the internet more open and how Network Neutrality will be defined.
