Marketing firms and advertisers have long wished that their Adwords accounts have analytics data inherently.
Google is currently testing such a marriage of analytics and Adwords on a limited number of accounts. In the test as reported by Periscopix, the new feature can be found under the Campaigns tab under Columns. This is where you can customize what columns appear on the page.
Certainly, bringing the analytics application into Adwords would seem like a perfect and necessary match. Having the data closer, would allow marketers to make faster optimization decisions around their online campaigns and be able to make changes to design, messaging and ad copy based on a holistic impression of their website to ad performance.
