Google is in love with speed. It wants faster websites and a faster Internet. It is pretty clear that Google has launched a campaign to help "get America online."
The company, according to domainnamewire.com, recently registered 100 domains using a very similar pattern: AlaskaGetOnline.com, GetAlaskaOnline.com, GetOnlineAlaska.com--for each of the fifty states. Specifically what the is intent of the campaign is not quite clear. It could be part of a lobbying / PR effort to speed up American broadband or Google itself could be entering the game with a new product or service.
