AdSense publishers gain new reporting features

Google has launched new reporting features for it's Adwords product for web publishers.

One of the expansions to the reporting system within Adwords includes an “all time” stats feature, which allows web publishers to quickly view all earnings, impressions, and clicks ever received during the life of the account.

Google also added an easy way for publishers and webmasters to get reports on ad units or channels within their account. Next to each ad unit or channel is a "view report" link which gives access to this data.

Also Google released some new research that shows how networks and publishers can make more money with "smart pricing" even though their revenue-per-click is discounted. The discount is because ads on the Google Content Network do not convert as well as search ads. This incentive can win back advertisers to the Google Content Network as a beneficial web marketing platform (with the discounted bid rate) which ultimately makes network and publishers more money.
